In this two hour episode of Brown Atlantis radio we follow Dilip up to the clouds and rain of Raags Megh and Malhar and down to terrains of coal trains in South Africa. The soundtracks of jazz and mining. To workers coming home to the rain, to not coming home at all. The expulsions of Tamils from Sri Lanka and fantasies of Kumari Kandam, an Indian Ocean Atlantis. We talk about the transoceanics of Dalit Panther militancy, birds in flight and in song and we listen to raags as they are meant to be heard, in full.
